Leadership is an accumulation of pretty much unlimited number of components in human life. The more someone has or achieve or incorporates these components or qualities the better leader that person is. These components may come from different philosophy or factual experience of different lifestyles. Continuous learning from people will help you reach this objective.

Politics: Politics is the process by which groups of people make decisions. - Wikipedia. But lot of people use this word to describe dirty game. Playing dirty game sometimes help power acquisition, but what they do not understand that it’s people they are playing the dirty game against and it’s the same people they are trying to lead. As the saying goes by the great leader Abraham Lincoln, ‘you can fool some of the people some of the time, you can fool some of the people all of the time but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time’.

Politics and leadership are two different entities and are not dependant on each other. Politics is a science. You may require to have knowledge of political science to become a leader and maintain your leadership, but you do not require to take shelter of politics to lead. A leader who takes shelter of politics in order to lead, demonstrates greed and greed leads the leader to ruin.
